Love at First Sight is the first exhibition of the FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais made in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts in Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan.
On the occasion of the events celebrating the sixteenth anniversary of the museum, the FRAC wished to highlight emblematic works from their collection, from six French artists of different generations: Latifa Echakhch, Laurent Grasso, Bertrand Lavier, Philippe Parreno, Julien Previeux, and Fabien Rigobert. It will be the first time that these artists will be shown in a major exhibition in Taiwan. The confrontation between their works with those of Taiwanese artists will be a ground for exchange and connections, both surprising and powerful.Through this new and welcome experience, the FRAC aims to foster a desire amongst the Taiwanese public to discover and engage with monumental works of contemporary art.
