The FRAC Nord- Pas de Calais has invited the British artist Scott King to conceive and create works to accompany the coming magnificent project of the FRAC/AP2.
After having created an off-site module presenting the activities of the FRAC throughout the region, the artist conceived the installation Conversations within the FRAC itself. Scott King has imagined an evolving work which evokes the construction atmosphere of the current FRAC: on large wooden panels which transform the entry hall into a worksite, the public, artists, staff and partners are invited to write a comment, put up an image, our give an opinion on the past, present and future of the FRAC Nord Pas de Calais and the city of Dunkirk.
Enriched over time by these contributions, the Conversations installation will be constantly evolving and will continue until the opening of the new FRAC/AP2 in 2013. |
